Built on Experience
Oasis was started by someone who had already
seen the other side of the desk. Ashita Miglani
spent five years as India regional manager for
an Australian college, reading applications sent
in by agents, before she registered Oasis in
2007.

That experience decided how the company
works. She had watched files arrive with
borrowed bank statements and statements of
purpose written by someone other than the
student, and she had watched what happened
to those students afterwards.
